Each author is different so i will give opinion about each story aby Then a general opinion.
Twelve dancing angels by Ella Summers
What will happen when you don’t know who you exactly are? you can do a lot of things, but you don’t have any memory about it.
Here dance is a metaphor for fight in the real meaning! Nyx has a lot of mysteries on Her own.
this short story gives only A glimpse of World and plot.
The Goose Girl by Brittany Fichter
This story is very smooth. I don’t know the original story, but this one made me interested in it! Story concentrate on emotions and how you feel when your world is turned upside down!
The Princess Who Chased Sheep by K.M. Shea
Story of a girl that is too clever for her surrounding. It’s a very nice and fast story. Here princess lost her place in palace and have to live on her own; then we have also a sly prince, that i found really interesting.
Chains of Gold by Shari L. Tapscott
A story of Rumplelstiltskin. In this world when you speak with Alfar (something like elves to me) you have to be careful what you promise.
Rapunzel’s Beauty by Casey Lane
Get one knight, his squire, princess and curse. Mix it in good proportions and you will get this story! I really liked that dark side of it.
Hansel and Gretel Devil Children by Jamie Campbell
The story is mix between Grimm brothers version and the most well known version of this story for children. For me sometimes it was too exaggerated from stepmother point of view.
Ellora’s Tail by RaShelle Workman
Short story, just a teaser. But i liked it.
The woods by Rebecca Hamilton & Connor Kressley
What would you do if your whole world was built on a lie? Deal with outside world and don’t allow to kill yourself. The concept and style of writing was great.
A Fistful of Stars by Cameron Jace
Story of Oz from other perspective. That’s not my style, but i liked it and would like to know more.
That Damn Pea by May Sage
Once again May Sage won my heart with her book/story. Strong female and cool guys – that’s her world. That story kept me smiling.
Beastly Beauty by T. Rae Mitchell
Short story. Interesting thinking and plot, but i would love to see this story more developed as well as character. It was good story, but too short in its form – as in longer story we would see more sides of characters, as each of them had perspectives to be well made.
Sleeping Cyborg by Aya Ling
That story was very Nice mix of sf and variation of fairy tale. Nice fast read with base of story. I liked Talia very much!
Vincent the Tailor by A.W. Axley
Tailor fight with zombies. Interesting series teaser
The Pastry Chef’s Apprentice by Melanie Cellar
Cinderella put in Palace (apprentice) and Her way with Stefan. I can tell it really catched my eye. I liked the best mail characters and maids (they rocks!)
Through the Mirror by Rachel Morgan
A New way of telling Snow White! very smooth read. But still it shold be longer.
anthology for me was a trip to my children stories in an older way. I recommend it for sure!
